I am a firm believer in asking for help when needed, and if I am to ever post any of the music that I've written or music that I'd remix, I'd have to learn a few things. If you have any tips, I'd love to hear them.

Music help?

Currently I am playing with MuseScore, which has a midi synthesizer in it, and the option to put in a different library of instruments or something like that. I also downloaded Cecelia, although not run it, and SWAMI instrument editor, with the idea that I could fix instruments that sounded wacky or something.

Needless to say, I know nothing about any of these programs.

Also, my computer is getting put away for the summer in about a month. I hope to learn these programs before then, at least master MuseScore if nothing else, but since I also have several other big projects to be working on, like my website. (Don't expect that up before fall, lolz)

NewGrounds Help?
Interestingly enough, my new web setup (latest ubuntu, latest firefox) is having the dangdest time downloading all those bitsy little images from img.ngfiles.com - does anybody know a way to surf where they aren't necessary? It's possible that my school's filter is blocking the site as filesharing or some stupid nonsense (0M6 P02N!11!!), although I didn't have a problem before I switched to Linux.
